What our guests say…

We had an absolutely fabulous time. It was extremely relaxing and the scenery in the surrounding countryside is inspiring. The nearby restaurant served wonderful food and gave us a hearty welcome.
Absolutely fantastic
We’ve stayed here four times now! Just a few 100 metres from Portsalon Quay, the golf course and the stunning Portsalon beach, this is such a great place to stay. The house easily sleeps the 7 of us. With a fully-equipped kitchen, washing machine, dishwasher and central heating, it had all the comforts of home, but with much better views! Highly recommend it and am looking forward to the next visit.
Perfect location and a great place to stay
A perfect getaway!!! A beautiful spacious house that has everything you could possibly need in a wonderful location with an amazing beach. My children had a wonderful time and really didn’t want to leave. Margaret made us feel really welcome with her delicious home made bread and advice on the local area. We would highly recommend this property and would definitely would like to return in the future.
Amazing place to stay really didn't want to leave!
Found this hidden little gem of a place on internet. Went and stayed for a week s holiday this is very close to Sarahs restaurant and near to the beach. In the cottage you will find all items you need for cooking and cleaning place is ever so clean. And comfy cant wait to go back again and have passed details on to my family and friends scenery is breath taking and fishing not bad to.
Portsalon
We very much enjoyed our recent stay in Portsalon at 10 The Gardens. The house is well appointed and comfortable. Its star attraction however, is its proximity to the beach – particularly with children on board.
Lovely location in Portsalon
Have made repeat visits to this house over the past 5 years and will continue to comeback as the house is ideally located for local pub, restaurant, small shop and portsalon pier. Location is quiet but only 1 minute walk to child friendly pub with evening entertainment. Only 1 minute walk to small sandy beach and larger beach only 5 minute walk away. Great location for both children and adults. House is clean and comfortable and well maintained. Sleeps 6 people comfortably.
Excellent location and very comfortable cottage
My partner and I stayed here and was amazed at how many people were able to stay here. All up, six people could stay here comfortably. The lounge is a great open space with the ceiling going all the way to the roof. Was a great stay for us because we were travelling round Europe and this house had a washing machine and drier. Just down from the house is the local pier and a restaurant, which I’m sure is open in summer. The house is great but the thing that made it special for us was its location…
Throw away the phone and enjoy the peace, quiet and fresh air.
We had 2 lovely days over Easter at the cottage and really loved it….we wished we could have stayed longer! The cottage was very welcoming and the location was just perfect!
Portsalon is just perfect!
If you are thinking of a break in Portsalon, don’t pass up on staying at this house. Everything you will need, warm, clean & comfortable. The beach is also amazing Thanks Margaret for all your help and of course the beautiful bread.
Amazing Place
The house is lovely and airy. Close to a small shop and great Pub & restaurant, with a magnificient 18 hole Links golf course within walking distance
Magical getaway, great amenities
